Dear CDB supporters,

My name is Hiroshi Hamada, and I am acting as the director of the RIKEN Center for Developmental Biology (CDB) since April 2015. I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your continuous supports of our center. As you may know, CDB made drastic structural changes two years ago and we have been making every effort to rejuvenate our research center as one of the world’s leading institutes for Developmental Biology.

Fortunately, turnover of principle investigators (PIs) in CDB has been very active, and almost all principle investigators (PIs) in the last 15 years have been promoted as a university professor. Given this, we would like to recruit two new PIs. This time, we are particularly interested in those candidates studying 1) adult stem cells (cell biology, physiology, pathology and/or its application to medicine), or 2) fundamental mechanisms of development. Please help us identifying excellent candidates.
