[Lfm] REMINDER: LFM @theCrick 6.30pm TONIGHT

Dear London Fly Community,

The first LFM at the new Francis Crick Institute building will be held this coming Wednesday 16th of November at 6.30pm in Seminar Rooms 3&4 on the ground floor (on the left as you enter).

We are delighted to announce the EDRC logo cash prize winner and show all the entries as a slide show during the pizza/beer.

You will first need to check in with the security desk near the seminar rooms, who will have your name on a guest list if you are subscribed to the LFM mailing list.  Any attendees not subscribed will need to grab one of the Crick scientists who will be waiting at the entrance, and they will then help take you through security and into the seminar rooms.

As usual, Beer and Pizza will be provided courtesy of the Genetics Society.

The speakers are:


Yutaka Matsubayashi (Brian Stramer Lab, King's College London) - A moving source of matrix components is essential for de novo basement membrane formation

Clara Fons (Alex Gould Lab, Crick) - Turning on brain sparing during development
