Dear all,
The next LFM is tonight at 6.30pm in the Auditorium on the ground floor. You will first need to check in with the security desk near the seminar rooms, who will have your name on a guest list if you are subscribed to the LFM mailing list. Any attendees not subscribed will need to grab one of the Crick scientists who will be waiting at the entrance, and they will then help take you through security.
As usual, Beer and Pizza will be provided courtesy of the Genetics Society.
The speakers are:
Ruta Ziukaite: Separable control of growth and patterning by Dpp in Drosophila wing precursors (Jean-Paul Vincent Lab, Crick)
Anna Franz: Fat body cells migrate to wounds where they multitask to fight infection and repair the wound (Paul Martin and Will Wood Labs, Bristol)
Hope to see you all there!
Georgina (on behalf of Barry)
