Dear All

Apologies for using our e-mail listing again, but we are looking for an experienced Drosophila geneticist for a 3 year BBSRC-funded postdoctoral position in my group, and I hoped you would be willing to pass the attached advert and ‘further particulars’ link to any individuals who might be interested in a post of this kind.

The project involves dissecting out the genetic regulation of exosome heterogeneity in Drosophila and then using these findings to inform and undertake studies in human cell culture aimed at understanding  how this heterogeneity may be modulated in different tumour cell lines under various conditions. Newly developed super-resolution (3D-SIM) and real-time light microscopy techniques will be combined with genetic studies in the fly experiments. The researcher will then work closely with our collaborators and receive the necessary training to analyse human exosome content and functions.

The closing date for applications is 12.00 noon on Monday 9 October 2017.
