[Lfm] Tomorrow! April LFM at the Francis Crick Institute

Dear all,

The next LFM will be held tomorrow the 18th April at 6.30pm in the Auditorium on the ground floor.

The speakers are:
Steven Marygold: New features in FlyBase (Flybase, Cambridge)

Helen Weavers: Understanding the inflammatory response to tissue damage in Drosophila: a complex interplay of pro-inflammatory attractants, priming & cytoprotection
(P. Martin Lab, Bristol Uni)

You will first need to check in with the security desk near the seminar rooms, who will have your name on a guest list if you are subscribed to the LFM mailing list.  Any attendees not subscribed will need to grab one of the Crick scientists who will be waiting at the entrance, and they will then help take you through security. As usual, Beer and Pizza will be provided courtesy of the Genetics Society.
