Dear all,

The next LFM will be held tonight, 6.30pm at the Francis Crick Institute in the Auditorium on the ground floor.

The speakers are:
Alyona Keder: Age-related hearing loss in Drosophila: from molecular networks to therapies (Albert Lab, UCL)

Will Pearson: Paying the metabolic price of immunity (Dionne Lab, Imperial)

You will first need to check in with the security desk near the seminar rooms, who will have your name on a guest list if you are subscribed to the LFM mailing list. Any attendees not subscribed will need to grab one of the Crick scientists who will be waiting at the entrance, and they will then help take you through security. As usual, Beer and Pizza will be provided courtesy of the Genetics Society.

Hope to see you all there :)

Georgina

2018 Speaker Rotations:
Dec 12 – Xmas Special – Autophagy and Cancer - What do flies tell us - Dr Tor Erik Rusten (Oslo University Hospital)
Jan 16 – Gould/Thompson

We are still finalising the running order from March onwards. If you would like to give a talk please contact myself or Nic Tapon.
