[Lfm] Tonight - October LFM

Dear all,

The October LFM will be held this evening, at 6.30pm, at the Francis Crick Institute in the Auditorium on the ground floor.

Speakers:
Daniel Ranson: Pharmacological and genetic targeting of GABA-B receptors alter alcohol-induced behaviours in Drosophila. (Casalotti Lab, UEL)

Ian McGough: Glypicans shield the lipid moiety of Wnts to enable signalling at a distance. (Vincent, Crick)

You will first need to check in with the security desk near the seminar rooms, who will have your name on a guest list if you are subscribed to the LFM mailing list.  Any attendees not subscribed will need to grab one of the Crick scientists who will be waiting at the entrance, and they will then help take you through security. As usual, Beer and Pizza will be provided courtesy of the Genetics Society.
