[Lfm] January LFM - TODAY!

The January LFM will be today, Wednesday 15th January at the Francis Crick Institute.

PLEASE NOTE THE NEW TIMES:
5.15-5.30pm: arrive at the Crick
5.30-6.30pm: talk in the ground floor seminar rooms (next to where we have the food and beers)

6.30-7.30pm: Drinks and nibbles in the usual place (unfortunately, everoyone has to depart by 7.30pm, but you can carry on chatting in the pub!)


Speakers:

Anna Franz: Exploring the roles of motile fat body cells in wound healing and cancer. (Franz lab, UCL)

Ricardo Barrientos: Contribution of extra-cellular matrix mechanics to wing disc morphology during development. (Mao lab, UCL)


You will first need to check in with the security desk near the seminar rooms, who will have your name on a guest list if you are subscribed to the LFM mailing list.  Any attendees not subscribed will need to grab one of the Crick scientists who will be waiting at the entrance, and they will then help take you through security. As usual, Beer and nibbles will be provided courtesy of the Genetics Society.
