FlyBase is writing the competitive renewal of FlyBase funding, which will be submitted to NIH in January. EXTENSIVE INPUT from the community of FlyBase users is invaluable in two ways.

  1.  It is a crucial source of input to help us determine our priorities for the next five year period.

  2.  The level of response is taken by our funders as a very important metric of how much the community cares about the continued survival of the FlyBase genomic and genetic database resource.
