Dear colleagues,

Could you please help me distribute this? I have two postdoc positions in my lab to investigate the molecular, cellular and network bases of neural circuit evolution. The two advertised projects have slightly different flavours:

1- The goal is to understand how viruses control animal behaviours by altering neuronal physiology. We will use as models moth larvae and the virus that infects them: https://crick.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com/External/job/London/Postdoctoral-Training-Fellow_R835-1

2- The second project will investigate the evolution of a novel motor behaviour. In particular we will aim at understanding how some Drosophila larvae have evolved to jump by combining genetics, behavioural analysis and new methods of optical connectomics in collaboration with the lab of Sam Rodriques at the Crick: https://crick.wd3.myworkdayjobs.com/External/job/London/Postdoctoral-Training-Fellow_R862-1

The twitter thread (with a video of the jumping larvae) can be found here: https://twitter.com/neuroluci/status/1558410013311483904

In addition, postdocs interested in joining my lab on other projects different to these two are also encouraged to contact me.

Best wishes,

Lucia
