Good morning everyone,

I hope you are all well - please excuse the mass email.   I am co-organising a conference with the theme of ‘The Ageing Immune System’ and thought this might be of interest to some of you and/or your students and collaborators.  Registration for this conference is minimal (maximum is £55 for a non-BSI member) and it promises to be an interesting day.  Confirmed speakers include Prof Arne Akbar, the former head of the British Society for Immunology, and an active voice through the COVID pandemic, Prof Philip Calder, a great speaker interested in the role of nutrition on immunity, and Dr Sarah Jackson who will be talking about a virus (CMV) which impacts healthy ageing and which has already infected half of you reading this email! I would be very grateful if you would share this flyer with any interested colleagues/students and spread the word!
