Some of my colleagues at the Crick are organising a summer school called the Crick Innovation Challenge, it will be at the end of July (24th-28th) .
The summer school focuses on how to develop an idea and bring to commercialisation to the start-up world.

Applications are now open for the 2023 Crick Innovation Challenge!
CSEN and the Crick Translation team are co-organising a UK-wide hackathon style event on Friday 24th Monday – 28th Friday July 2023. The Innovation Challenge is aimed at early career scientists (MSc, PhD, Postdoctoral researchers or other scientific staff) based in the UK who are curious about entrepreneurship. You don’t need to be set on entrepreneurship, and you don’t need to have an idea, team or product to apply – just your curiosity and openness to new ways of thinking.
Participants will form teams and come up with innovative solutions in one of three challenge areas. There will be an opportunity for participants to present their business proposals to a panel of industry experts and investors.

The four challenge areas:
1.            Planetary healthy
2.            Healthy Living
3.            Discovery to Recovery
