I’m writing ask if you could pass along this advertisement for a junior faculty position in our department to any qualified people in your lab or associated labs, or indeed to anyone you think might be a good fit. It’s a great opportunity for someone who would thrive in a very supportive environment that is highly focused on chromosome or cell cycle biology, broadly interpreted. We aren’t particular about the exact research focus or model system as much as we are looking for someone who can complement (not duplicate) our existing strengths. Someone using genomic or computational approaches would be great but that certainly isn’t a deal breaker.

Anyone with questions about the position can contact the chair of our search, Susannah Rankin (susannah-rankin at omrf.org<mailto:susannah-rankin at omrf.org>), or they can contact me (or any other faculty person in our program) if they prefer.

Best wishes,
Gary
